The State Railway of Thailand is moving operations to The Bang Sue Grand Station, opening early 2021. It will be Southeast Asia's largest railway station, big enough to handle the longest high speed trains.
History : Hua Lamphong opened in 1916 : an elegant design with a half dome facade, in Italian Neo-renaissance style.
Today : About 200 trains carrying more than 27,000 travelers roll through each day. It is the main terminal to Northern, Eastern, Northeastern and Southern Thailand.
