  Textures are everywhere in
  our daily lives. Each object
  we touch has a different
  texture, each surface we
  feel has its own texture,
  each person we caress has
  his own skin quality.

  In art, every painter,
  sculptor or ceramist applies
a texture for each of his
  creations.

  In nature, stone, wood,
  foliage, water, birds, all
  offer us another texture,
  another feeling.
